The Serola sacroilliacal pelvic band is made to compress and support the SI joints. Compression and support ensure that the ligament tension and pelvic instability are reduced as naturally as possible. The Serola Pelvic Belt is used to prevent or rehabilitate pelvic instability and pelvic pain, but the band is also used for lower back pain (at the SI joint). In addition, the pelvic girdle also corrects posture.

The Serola Pelvic Band is made of a non-elastic cotton layer and an elastic tension layer. The action of this combination is similar to the action of the pelvic joints which are naturally stabilized by non-elastic ligaments (bands) and elastic muscles. A non-slip rubber strip prevents this pelvic girdle from creeping up. The pelvic strap is available in four sizes. The pelvic circumference can be measured at the level of the pelvic crest.
