The Sharpsafe 3.0L has two openings. One opening is for disposing of acute medical equipment and the other is for disposing of needles. For people who have to throw away pens and needles at home, the Sharpsafe 3.0L is ideal. At home, in most cases, we only have large or small trash cans that do not allow pens to be placed vertically.
